As a "preacher's family", we moved frequently to serve in different churches. Daddy pastoring a new church meant for us a new community, new friends, new adjustments. Such a life is a blessing in so many ways but it also meant we had to leave our VBFs, very best friends, and in most cases never to see them again.
One exception to that rule was the Smith family that lived in Bluff City, Tennessee where Daddy pastored the First Baptist Church. Although there were some years that we lost contact with each other, the Lord sent them back into our lives just when we would need them the most.
Betty and Jack have gone on to be with the Lord. Martina, Nancy, and Terry Smith are three of our most valued VBFs and we love them very much.

Mom would be so thrilled to know that Terry provided background music for her homepage. She would remember him as a very talented young man.
Today, Terry is still very talented as is evident by his music. Currently he is the minister of music at two churches in Phoenix, Arizonia and teaches key board one on one both in person and online.
